Erro após atualização

O meu scanner funcionava normalmente: uso a impressora Epson TX-115.  Depois de fazer algumas atualizações sugeridas meu scanner não é mais reconhecido.  Meu PC parece que está com outros problemas: as letras que aparecem ficam falhando (faltando partes), quando clico em fechar janela ele demora para fechar, ou diz que a janela não está respondendo. Antes ele desligava sozinho.  Eu retirei um pente de memória, passei a borracha e ele parou de desligar. Alguém pode me dar uma orientação? Eu encontrei estes resultados no sources-list: Desde já agradeço a ajuda.

O meu scanner voltou a funcionar.  Quando eu fui imprimir um documento, vi que a impressora não funcionava.  Desliguei e liguei, ela começou a imprimir, experimentei o scanner e também funcionou.  Procurei tanto no Google e encontrei a solução sozinha. Até remover o scanner e instalar de novo eu fiz.  Como eu coloco "resolvido"?
