Plugin do flash player não funciona adequadamente em nenhum navegador [resolv]

Olá, pessoal.

Estou com um problema um tanto sério aqui. O plugin do flash player não tem rodado adequadamente nem no firefox, nem no Opera, nem no Flock. Aliás, nesses dois últimos, não roda nada mesmo. No firefox, ainda é possível assitir a alguns vídeos, mas eles ficam travando toda hora. Tudo que é em flash aparece bloqueado com um símbolo de "play" cinza gigantesco, sendo que eu não uso nenhum bloqueador de flash. Achei que era a última versão, mas não é, porque eu voltei pra versão 9 e continua a mesma coisa, inclusive com o tal play cinza.

Já tentei reinstalar o plugin, instalar diferentes versões, apagar a pasta oculta do firefox, o diabo. Ficou menos mal agora depois que eu removi o flashplugin-nonfree (v. 9) e instalei o gnash, que tem conseguido exibir mais vídeos do que os plugins do Ubuntu e da Adobe. Mas o play cinza continua, e os vídeos continuam engasgando na exibição.

Pesquisei aqui no fórum e no google, mas ainda não consegui encontrar problema parecido. Se alguém puder me ajudar, eu agradeço imensamente.

Chame o firefox pelo terminal e execute o vídeo e veja o(s) erro(s) que vão aparecer.

Por agora, estou usando o gnash pra fazer funcionar o flash. Segue abaixo a tentativa de rodar um vídeo do G1 (um dos sites onde não se consegue rodar vídeos):

Agora, vou desinstalar o gnash, instalar a última versão do flash 10 da Adobe e repetir o procedimento. Daqui a pouco eu posto novamente.

Desinstale o SWFDEC

Comigo aconteceu o mesmo e depois funcionou.

pidgin, eu ia postar aqui a saída do terminal com o flash da Adobe, mas isso não se faz necessário. Você tinha razão, o problema era mesmo esse swfdec. Foi só desinstalar, e está tudo certo.
