Checando rootkits

Nunca se sabe né , mas checar por trojans de vem em quando é sempre bom.

Desculpa a pergunta idiota, mas como é que usa isso? Instalei ele via apt-get, não apareceu nada no Menu, fui até o Executar Aplicação, chamei ele e nada.

ele checa a integridade de alguns arquivos e comandos comuns e procura por pragas conhecidas para linux como trojans,vírus,backdoor...basicamente vc roda...ele a partir de um terminal.

Obrigado pela explicação. Rodei o chkrootkit. Nada foi detectado. Só mais uma dúvida.  E se fosse detectado? O que teria que fazer?

teria que remover ela dos sistema daí o google é seu amigo...

A única coisa que não dizia do lado "not infected" ou coisas do gênero foi isso:
eth0: PACKET SNIFFER(/sbin/dhclient3[5977])
Será que tá infectado? É que achei estranho que não diz "checking" como em todos os outros.

na dúvida teste outro, tem que ter o bom senso e analisar a situação no meu sistema por exemplo algumas coisas foram dadas como suspeitas ,mas como eu costumo ler muito a documentação passou batido principalmente os novos diretórios ocultos do /dev/.udev e o do kernel de resto não vi nada ...se quiser fazer outro teste...tem este outro .
