Sistema / Instalando Ubuntu em um PowerPC G3 iMac

Ola pessoal querido da Comunidade, Paz a todos.

A mais ou menos um ano atrais eu dei para um amigo um iMac G3 PPC , de presente.
se passou um ano ele me liga e diz que o Mac dele estava estranho muito lento.

resolvi pegar o PPC dele, para poder reinstalar novamente o OS 10.4 Tiger , conseguindo fazer a instalaçao do system operation fui fazer uns updates , passando de 10.4.4 para o mas recente. So que o pc dele depois travava direto, resolvi entao colocar novamente o DVD para reformatar ele para voltar pelomenos ao 10.4.4 Genuine..

Agora que a loucura se inicia risisissss

tentei de todos os comandos possivel da minha memory e alguns de sites de ajuda ..
ate cheguei a ligar para Mac support em Los Angeles onde nem eles conseguiram arrumar..
1- resetei Firmware + password + BIOS + desliguei da tomada por 20 segundos  e apertei o Button  para tentar resetar oque nao tinha mas.. e nada..
2- pensei em buscar Ferramentas de formatacao CD Boots pela Internet como o conhecido (DiskWarrior) e nada.
sempre que eu tentava por ele o PPC travava e nada.. isso se foi passando pelo segundo dia.
3- Pensei porque nao baixar uma versao do Ubuntu para PPC e ver no que vai dar  ;D
4- Outro problema os commandos do Ubuntu em PPC tive que achar eles, pois eu nunca tinha feito isso em um mac..

(cmd + option + p + r) para entrar fkdev )
depois de conseguir terminar o fkdev eu começei pelo Ubuntu Live CD onde eu formatei tudo..

1. Update package database:
   $ sudo apt-get update

2. Install latest intel video driver:
   $ sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-intel

3. Switch to virtual console 1 with Ctrl+Alt+F1

4. Stop Gnome Display Manager:
   $ sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop

5. Configure intel video driver:
   $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
   [during driver setup process, select "intel" driver and include 1280x800 resolution]

6. Restart Gnome Display Manager:
  $ /etc/init.d/gdm start

Amigo tente fazer isso, quando voce entrar em qualquer desses sites de flash como Youtube, de um click bem no meio do video com mouse direito e habilite o som, em algumas das vezes ele se desabilita so,  se abrira um painel com opicoes de configuracoes, :)

1-click com direito no icon de internet e veja se nao esta desmarcada a opicao de Wireless,  e pois habilite  ela,:)
qual a versao de Ubuntu voce esta usando e qual o nome da sua placa de wireless, :)

Caro VB5 voce esta errado em quase 90% aqui :)
1- o Ip fornecido pelo provedor ele muda de cada 30 minutos, pelomenos aqui em Los Angeles  Verizon.
2-a placa de rede sim e possivel sim tanto que no Windows eu uso um Programa que se chama SMAC 2.0 Otimo para isso :)
3- Nao esta usando a palavra certa em dizer Falsificar  :)
Estou com uns Problemas em relacao a um Jogo,  e eles me blockiaram , somente quando uso o Ubuntu, pois no Windows eu uso esse programa SMAC 2.0  e consigo entrar na boa .

Estava apenas querendo mudar . ate consegui com esse comando de cima, so que o systema do Jogo detecta minhas informacoes.
e com o XP nao :)

Mesmo que você mudasse o MAC address, o seu IP continuaria sendo determinado pelo provedor, como disse o VB5. O driver da placa de rede geralmente acompanha um utilitário para isso.

E usar um IP falso não vai te salvar de nada, se é esse o objetivo. Ao contrário, pode até chamar mais a atenção. É tecnicamente mais difícil rastrear um IP falso, mas não impossível. Mudar o MAC address só faz sentido se sua máquina estiver em uma rede. so que nao e nada de +.
eu fui Blockiado por muitos reports , algumas pessoas me reportaram dizendo que eu sou de menor, e como eu nao quero mandar minhas informacoes para eles, fiquei banido e perdendo grana :)

Galera estou com um Problema, queria muito trocar meu ip e meu Mac adress mas que seja de forma facil.
tentei isso.
Abre se o Terminal e escreva.

Código: [Selecionar]
$ ifconfig

$ cd /etc/init.d

$ sudo nano ChangeMAC

Then, fill configuration file with new MAC Address.
sudo ifconfig eth1 down
sudo ifconfig eth1 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
sudo ifconfig eth1 up
sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop
sudo /etc/ini.d/networking restart

Salva e fecha

Apply configuration file.
$ sudo chmod +x ChangeMAC

$ sudo update-rc.d ChangeMAC defaults

Alguem pode me dar alguma ideia? de como eu usar um Ip Anonimo ou mudar meu Mac Adress mas facil?

veja amigo que  se essa sua ISO esta certinha, uma dica e Queimar as Isos em velocidade baixa. demora se um pouco mas e infalivel..

Pessoal tentei jogar Counter Strike pelo Ubuntu e nao estou conseguindo.
Busquei no Google e naoa chei uma pessoa que tive o mesmo Toshiba que eu para poder trocar ideia.
O Counter Strike ja esta Instaldo no Laptop. fiz pelo Wine-doors
Pare esta tudo certo so que ao eu clicar para escolher o servidor ele some fecha sozinho..

Instalação e Atualização / [Problemas] Intel 945 no Toshiba Satellite Laptop A135-S4467 Duo 2 Core

Pessoal pela primeira vez tentei jogar Counter S.. no Ubuntu.
Instalei ele pelo Wine-doors quando eu abro o jogo ele roda  antes de parecer para escolher o servidor ele simplesmente some..

No meu Windows XP eu tive que colocar -dxlevel 70 para ele rodar com o grafico card da intel 945.
so que aqui no Ubuntu nao estou sabendo qual sera o segredo? ja tentei colocar isso tambem mas nao roda!
Sera que eu terei que baixar alguma coisa a +?
