Webcam parou de funcionar

Olá pessoal, boa tarde a todos!

Seguinte, aconteceu algo estranho, depois de algumas atualizações a minha webcam parou de funcionar e eu não sei porque. Testei algumas coisas que encontrei nos foruns mas nada funcionou. Gostaria se possível, algum de vocês me ajudarem.

Meu notebook é o inspiron 1525 e sua webcam é integrada. Tenho o ubuntu 13.04. O estranho é que por ser um notebook um tanto antigo, não era para ter problemas com driver... eu acho.

E da essa mensagem qdo coloco para testar o vídeo: "Video for Linux 2 (v4l2): O dispositivo "/dev/video0" não pôde ser identificado." O mesmo que aparece qdo vo abrir.
