Tentando instalar com o driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run não obtive sucesso recebendo sempre a msg Unable to build NVIDIA kernel module, e com o Envy recebi o seguinte erro Exception: EnvyNG ERROR: NVIDIA card not found.
Espero que alguem possa me ajudar, ja estou quase desistindo.
Obrigado.

Seja bem vindo! :)

Vai no synaptic (Administração -> Synaptic), localize o nvidia-glx-new (CRTL+F), marque para instalação.
$ sudo nvidia-xconfig

sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings
e abra-o via terminal
sudo nvidia-settings
assim todas mudanças feita com o nvidia-settings será salva no xorg.
-
You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X Driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run 'nvidia-xconfig' as root), and restart X server. Como devo proceder ?
Obrigado ! :)

Alguem poderia me explicar !?
Obrigado
-
Alguem ai ja instalou ou saberia me explicar ?
Valeo galera !

Oi pessoal!
