Resolução da tela no ubuntu 14.04 [Resolvido]

bom dia possuo placa de vídeo hd5670 e monitor 23.5 que suporta 1920x1080@60 com o drive amd catalyst omega 14.12 instalado e não consigo por resolução acima de 1600x1200.

EndSectioneu adicionei a resolução no xorg.conf mas não mudou nada o catalyst também não me da opção de criar a resolução.

segui a dica desse site http://wiki.ubuntu-br.org/CorrigindoResolucaoMonitor para especificações do meu monitor que não tinha no meu xorg.conf

e seguia dica também do comando xrandr http://www.vivaolinux.com.br/topico/GNOME/Ubuntu-1110-nao-reconhece-minha-resolucao
