Faz o download do .deb. Quando você for fazer o download, escolhe a versão .deb.
Ai duplo click e o Ubuntu faz o resto para vc.

Por prompt também nao consegui pois eu sempre tenho de utilizar este endereço: deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt breezy main

Isso é um "repositório" de uma versão antiga do Ubuntu, não vai servir mesmo! Você deveria ter o wine nos repositórios! Até no menu "Aplicações/Adicionar Remover" tem a opção de instalar ele! Posta o conteúdo do /etc/apt/sources.list !

ola, no meu instalar e remover programas, nao tem o wine, nem no automatix tem, eu tentei fazer como disse acima e também nao consegui, vou postar aki o conteudo do sources.list agr vou tnetar esse tal .deb, vou ver se axo no site do wine ate agr so vi o tar.bz2  eu uso o ubuntu 6.10

editado: eu ja tentei o tal .deb mas ele so funciona nas versoes nao 64 bits ele diz erro:worng architecture 'I386' a minha é o ubunt amd64 ... como eu faço para contornar este erro e instalar o pacote na mesma?? vai ser preciso instalar outra versao ubuntu?

Agora quem ficou em dúvida fui eu, você diz que usa a versão 6.10 e a tua sources.list
é toda da versão 6.06?
Em vez de dapper não deveria ser edgy?

hahaha tens razao, a source é da 6.06 naos ei como, mas eu fiz download da 6.10 e no nome do cd ta 6.10 loooool eu nunca irria reparar nisso, mas mesmo assim esse nao é o grande problema, o maior é eu ser amd64 e essas versoes do wine serem pa 32 bits, nao tem maneira de contornar esta situaçao e eu instalar na mesma?

eu nao consegui, eu percebo ingles bem, eu li e fui fazendo o que mandava, mas era pouco especifico, nao diz se eu tinha de ter algum pacote wine em algum directorio ou assim eu fui adicionando os comandos, mas naod eu em nada...

sudo apt-get install libfreetype6-dev
sudo apt-get install fontforge

configure will find several omissions, but a few will only be noticed by the 'make' steps.

Make sure you have the following packages installed:

sudo apt-get install gcc flex bison libc6-i386 libc6-dev-i386

You may also want to try and link opengl. It built on my machine with the links below, but failed at runtime with an opengl error. You may have better luck. If opengl fails, remove the links, and run configure and make again.

sudo ln -s libGL.so.1 libGL.so
sudo ln -s libGLU.so.1 libGLU.so

Run configure, build and install with:

LDFLAGS="-L/lib32 -L/usr/lib32 -Wl,-rpath,/lib32 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib32" ./configure
make depend
make all
sudo make install

axo que vou sacar o 32 bits e instalar, sempre é mais compativel com software, eu adorei ubuntu, mas como sempre pra mim nada ia dar certo a primeira, vou ter de instalar o 32 bits lool axo que naod eve fazer grande diferença pois nao?
