Olá. Sou novo no linux, sempre leio os tópicos q aparecem e procuro mta informação na net. Estou usando o ubuntu 6.06 e até hoje, eu nunca consegui ativar a minha placa 3d. Segui vários tutoriais postados aqui, materias da internet (viva o google) mas nada deu certo com minha placa de vídeo.
Uso uma nVidia GeForce 5200 com 128 Mb de memória.

ultimamente, sempre q tento configurar a placa pra ativar a renderização 3d ou não dá certo ou quebra o desktop ( substituir "nvidia" por "nv" não resolve, assim como comentar as linhas load "dri" e "GLcore")
O resultado do glxinfo retorna isso:

e não sai disso de jeito nenhum.
Não muda isso faz mto tempo!
