O que eh e onde encontrar? aclocal-1.6

tentando compilar um pacote (especificamente o utilitario ccd2iso) obtive o seguinte erro ao usar o comando make:

aclocal: configure.in: 8: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library

o negocio eh que procurei no google e nao achei nada, alguem ai ja passou por problema parecido ou tem ciencia da solucao para esse problema, agradeco pela atencao.
