Erro K9copy

já estou a algum tempo tentando resolver esse problema ,mas está muito difícil encontrar solução.Uso o kubuntu 7.04 e o k9copy só vive dando erro e não consigo copiar dvd algum...Pensei dentre várias coisas que seria a falta do pacote "libdvdcss" ...instalei o cara ai ele começou a copiar ,quando chegou aos 70% deu esse erro:

Ocorreu um erro enquanto executava DVDAuthor:
ERR: Error reading from pipe: Arquivo ou diretório inexistente

Por favor me ajudem ,pois não quero ter que ir ao win para isso...é o fim pra mim...

O que faço para que ele volte a funcionar no Ubuntu?

Verificou se o vamp esta instalado e toda aquela parnafenalha de codecs tbm.
eu o instalei assim apt-get install k9copy
e ele instalou todos pacotes e dependencias sem crise.

Verifiquei, esta tudo instalado, vi que a versão do K9 é beta e não vou mais insistir.
Vou usar o DVD Shrink pelo Wine.

Estou tendo o mesmo problema aqui consegui fazer backup em 2 dvds ai ele começo dar este problema... a propósito quando instalei ele foi pelo menu Aplicações/Adicionar-Remover e na descrição do software diz que ele se integra bem ao ambiente KDE será que não é por isso

depois tentei pelo terminal e nada...

Segundo andei vendo essa versão do k9copy que vem no Feisty está com problemas. Aqui eu troquei pelo Dvd95, mas esse é para o Gnome. Talvez seja possível instalar uma versão anterior do K9Copy, já tentou isso?
