bem boas a todos!!
e o seguinte eu tinha a versao 6.06 do ubuntu mas a medida k fui atualizando as versoes ate xegar ao feisty ele foi adicionando ubuntus ao GRUB isto e normal?

Isso acontece sim...basta vc abrir o Ubuntu do último Kernel atualizado.
Vc pode também comentar (#) as linhas dos mais antigos...

No início das atualizações eu deletava os mais antigos do /boot/grub/menu.lst...não tive problema não.
Agora pelo que já vi aqui no Fórum é bom deixar pelo menos mais pra qualquer eventualidade...

entao o k eu tnho de fazer e introduzir o "quiet"?
desculpem mas onde se encontra esses default options? e k sou mesmo noob ainda estou aprendendo o sistema mais facil do mundo:P

No terminal digite:

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
