ssh não conecta no vmware-server

Pessoal,

instalei o vmware-server e instalei o ubuntu 7.04 numa VM, depois de reinstalar o openssh tentei a nova vm pelo ssh, e não consigo conectar, o mais estranho que seu tentar o acesso de outra máquina acessa normal, o erro só acontece na máquina onde onde instalei o vmware-server.
