Não reconhece placa de vídeo

Pessoal,
instalei o Ubuntu 12.10 e meu notebook está esquentando muito.
Acredito que seja devido ao fato de que ele não reconheceu a placa de vídeo.

Alguém tem uma dica de como instalar essa placa de vídeo?

O driver para placas Intel já vêm inseridos no kernel do Linux.

Penso que o aquecimento se deva mais ao fato de o Ubuntu 12 funcionar com o processador a toda velocidade, diminuindo inclusive o uso de sua bateria.

Procure pelo pacote jupiter

Veja se ele ajuda a reduzir sua temperatura, modulando a velocidade do processador.
