Ubunteros, estou com problemas para conseguir configurar o teclado americano para acentuacoes.
consigo deixar configurado com o comando: $ setxkbmap us -variant intl mas nao consigo manter apos reiniciar / desligar o computador.
Em outro forum, foi sugerido que colocasse este comando na ultima linha do arquivo /etc/profile (nao funcionou).
# /etc/profile: system-wide .profile file for the Bourne shell (sh(1))
# and Bourne compatible shells (bash(1), ksh(1), ash(1), ...).
if [ "$PS1" ]; then
if [ "$BASH" ] && [ "$BASH" != "/bin/sh" ]; then
# The file bash.bashrc already sets the default PS1.
# PS1='\h:\w\$ '
if [ -f /etc/bash.bashrc ]; then
. /etc/bash.bashrc
fi
else
if [ "`id -u`" -eq 0 ]; then
PS1='# '
else
PS1='$ '

# The default umask is now handled by pam_umask.
# See pam_umask( 8 ) and /etc/login.defs.
if [ -d /etc/profile.d ]; then
for i in /etc/profile.d/*.sh; do
if [ -r $i ]; then
. $i
fi
done
unset i
fi
setxkbmap us -variant intl
E tambem ja tentei algumas coisas no /etc/default/keyboard
# Check /usr/share/doc/keyboard-configuration/README.Debian for
# documentation on what to do after having modified this file.
# The following variables describe your keyboard and can have the same
# values as the XkbModel, XkbLayout, XkbVariant and XkbOptions options
# in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
XKBMODEL="pc102"
XKBLAYOUT="us"
XKBVARIANT="intl"
XKBOPTIONS=""
# If you don't want to use the XKB layout on the console, you can
# specify an alternative keymap. Make sure it will be accessible
# before /usr is mounted.
# KMAP=/etc/console-setup/defkeymap.kmap.gz
BACKSPACE="guess"
tentei:
XKBMODEL="pc102" e "pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="us" e "us-intl"
XKBVARIANT="intl" e "abnt2"
XKBOPTIONS=""
de qualquer forma, quero fugir da tecla de composicao, que na minha opiniao eh pessima na hora de digitar.
Obrigado!
