Não consigo selecionar atualizações

Já faz algum tempo que estou notando isso, não sei se é exatamente um problema, mas depois que atualizei para o Edgy o meu notificador de atualizações me avisa quando há alguma atualização disponível, porém têm algumas que eu não consigo selecionar para atualizar, são elas: python-gadfly, python-htmlmpl, python-kjbuckets, python-soappy, python-syck

Você já tentou pelo apt-get?
Eu tinha um pacote assim, era o chekinstall, ou qualquer coisa desse tipo.
Habilitou depois de ter rodado o Automatix
Era dos repositórios habilitados por ele.

Juro que não entendi...., entrar no automatix e fechar? pq sem selecionar nada e tentar executar ele me avisa que não há nenhum pacote selecionado.

Mas eu entrei pelo synaptic e e selecionei todos os repositórios possíveis.... selecionei todas as atualizações e apliquei, houveram 120 atualizações, porém essas mesmas que postei anteriormente não foram atualizadas....

Eu também não entendo, expus o que sucedeu aqui.
Foi exatamente assim. E também a mensagem de nenhum pacote selecionado, eu não vi .
Mas quem sabe aparece a solução para esse problema mais adiante.

Comigo ocorreu algo parecido quando migrei do Dapper para Edgy. Se for este o caso posso relatar o que fiz.

Sim, por favor, relate. Qdo eu migrei não fiz uma instalação limpado edgy, não consegui, então eu fiz uma instalação limpa do dapper, fiz um dist-upgrade e só depois voltei meu backup, talvez seja por isso que eu estou tendo esse problema
