Antes com 768mb de memória ddr trabalhando a 266mghz devido a um antigo pente PC2100



Agora com 1Gb ddr-400 dual channel

A cerca de um ano atrás ou mais eu rodei o SuperPI num forum de overclock, usando o Windows XP Professional SP2.
O sistema estava todo mexido para utilizar o mínimo possível dos recursos do hardware, no modo específico em que utilizei para fazer o teste, não dava nem para acessar a internet ou rede (tinha deixado apenas os serviços mínimos necessários para inicializar o sistema). O arquivo swap estava no início de um HDD em um canal diferente (Promise P-ATA), e até a resolução do sistema havia sido diminuída. Vejam a comparação:

Meus melhores tempos no rWin foram:
48s @ 2.99 GHz
58s @ 2.40 GHz

Enquanto meus melhores tempos no Linux foram:
31s @ 3.02 GHz
32s @ 2.93 GHz
34s @ 2.88 GHz
38s @ 2.4 GHz
