Wireless no ubuntu 7.04 (algumas placas)

Alguem pode me ajudar a configura o kubunto 9.04 na internet discada....É a primeira vez que instalo um linux no meu pc.

Olá amigo, meu note não sei por que não esta reconhecendo a placa de rede wireless, de um dia para o outro parou de funcionar dei o comando citado e ele retornou esse resultado:

Acho que estou com algum problema físico no meu note. Ele é um Acer Aspire 5315-2914, a placa é uma Atheros não lembro modelo da mesma, se alguem puder dar uma ajuda agradeço.
Outra coisa quando digito ifconfig ela não esta na lista de placas de rede.
