Instalação do hearts-1.98 - Copas

Fiz o download e segui as regras do readme, que são:

COMPILATION

To compile you should only have to do:

./configure
make
make install

Quando dei o ./configure o Shell me disse isso:

Olá ! conseguiu aí instalar o game ? 

bom, eu não sei se vai servir, mas eu tive um problema parecido, e encontrei o seguinte em outras partes do fórum daqui mesmo:

sudo apt-get install build-essential

funcionou depois disso
