gerenciador de atualizações --download de informações de pacotes falha

Pessoal, estou tendo um problema com o gerenciador de atualizações...

Quando abro ele e clico em "verificar atualizações", aparece a janela "Fazendo download de informações de pacotes". A barra de progresso anda e quando chega no final eu recebo um dump com as seguintes mensagens de erro:

Me parece que o primeiro erro provoca os outros, porque o arquivo de índices antigo está sendo utilizado, mas parece desatualizado, dando os links errados para o update manager...

Se a assinatura está inválida, devo estar com a chave publica do repositório errado, certo? Onde encontro essa chave pública? Como atualizo ela? A chave que tenho do ftpmaster@ubuntu.com é de 2004. É essa chave que está falhando?

Será que alguém pode me ajudar com esse problema por favor?

PS: estou em uma empresa, "atrás" de um proxy squid (não precisa autenticar, é transparente)... será que tem alguma coisa a ver?

Ou então manter a source.list original que vem no liveCD, eu só ajusto p/ o servidor internacional

rjbgbo, já tentei diversos sources lists diferentes, não me parece ser esse problema... esse source list que vc recomendou, não pude testar, porque ele pára aos 99% em um pacote... talvez o servidor esteja congestionado, ou alguma coisa assim... já tentei escolher a melhor fonte no "Canais de Software"... pegou um servidor lá da europa, que devia estar mais descongestionado... mas deu o mesmo erro (aquele NO DATA 2).... esse erro tá misterioso... pior que parece que ninguém tem mta idéia de porque ele está surgindo.... pelo que procurei em outros fóruns, a sugestão é sempre mudar o sources.list ou executar dpkg --configure -a... mas pra mim não deu certo...

alguém tem + alguma sugestão?

o apt-get do hardy heron já começou travando na instalação... tá mto instável o update, tá deixando a desejar mesmo... (foi mal o desabafo)...

Pessoal, consegui uma nova mensagem de erro que talvez dê uma pista boa sobre o erro:

Apt Authentication Error
