RESOLVIDO Problema GRAVE no adicionar/remover

Bom dia, participantes do Fórum;
Fazem seis meses que migrei completamente do Windows para o UBUNTU (estou apanhando mais que mulher de malandro  ). Bem, se posso navegar com segurança, usar o Skype, e outras coisas normais, para mim está bom.
Agora, estou precisando de ajuda  :
Estava fuçando e tentando instalar um programa qualquer a mais de uma semana, quando constatei um ícone vermelho na barra inferior. Quando clico nele aparece a seguinte tela: http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/8929/capturadetelask1.png
Bem, quando clico em adicionar/remover programas, aparece a seguinte tela: http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/8453/capturadetela1wp8.png
O problema é que não consigo destrinchar os comandos que aparecem; se copio e colo ambos em seguida ou somente um de cada vez  .
Já fuçei no Fórum, no Google e nada 
Se algum visitante se dispor a me ajudar, aviso: tem que ter paciência e me repassar os comandos passo a passo, se não me embaralho.
PS: se existir uma maneira de fazer o SO retroagir a uma data anterior, tipo ponto de restauração, me informem.

Seu problema esta no arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list, mais precisamente na linha 66, onde tem o comando sudo, que não deveria estar lá.

Isso tudo esta na mensagem de erro. Basta editar o arquivo, corrigir a linha, e executar o comando sudo apt-get update.

Lembre-se de usar o sudo para editar o arquivo.

Cristiano; primeiramente, muitíssimo agradecido por tentar ajudar esse vivente, mas talvez seja um pouco difícil.
Realmente não sei editar, corrigir a linha, e executar...

O que tem no diretório /etc/apt/sources.list.d/?

Se existerem arquivos neste diretório o que tem dentro deles?

Porque no nautilus esta aparecendo: Mídia de 9.2 Gb > etc > apt > sources.list.d??

Deveria ser apenas etc > apt > sources.list.d.

O outro Linux que você achou, deve ser o BigLinux que instalei a tempos e esqueci a senha  .
Não uso-o mais e não sei como desinstalar  .
Nem me pergunte como consegui instalar os dois Linux. Não sei  !
