Pra quem usa o Conky, postem aqui seus ".conkyrc" com foto da tela

Sempre achei um Conky útil, mas "meio sem graça", mas com a dica do Alakasan do Conky Colors, resolvi customizar o Conky no meu desk. Aliás gostei tanto do Conky que estou usando dois painéis. 

O primeiro, à direita monitora o sistema, sendo uma versão modificada do Conky Colors. O segundo, à esquerda, monitora servidores, baixa meus compromissos do Google Calendar e mostra um calendário.


Como fiz muitas customizações, resolvi compartilhar todo meu Conky em arquivo compactado, onde todos os arquivos necessários estão incluídos. Um LEIAME também foi disponibilizado, favor lê-lo antes de prosseguir a instalação.

ela esta instalado pois consigo utilizar normalmente ela no openoffice e em outros programas mais no conky ele apresenta o seguinte erro:

Conky: can't load font 'OpenLogos:size=26'

existe algum outro lugar onde o conky vai buscar as fontes true type? ou posso resolver de outra maneira?

Como falei no primeiro texto meu neste tópico o meu .conkyrc foi baseado no tema CONKY-colors 2.3.1.1 que se encontra  aqui:

lá  no README dele fazia essa recomendação:

After that, extract the .scripts and .fonts in your "/home/username" or "~/" and a .conkyrc from the conkyrc folder that you like more.
*If you choose .conkyrc_es(spanish) or .conkyrc_pt(portuguese) don't forget to rename to .conkyrc.

Update your font cache:
#fc-cache -v -f

ou seja, pegar a pasta oculta .fonts presente no tema em questão e colocar a mesma dentro da sua pasta de usuário na home e depois pelo terminal digitar:

sudo fc-cache -v -f

eu fiz isso e também rodei o mesmo comando no terminal como usuário comum, ou seja:

fc-cache -v -f


se observar nesta pasta .fonts tem as fontes que serão usadas pelo .conkyrc

Botei aqui uma atualização do meu script, com mais alguns adendos, como mostrar a velocidade do cooler do processador, temperatura da placa de vídeo e porcentagem de uso de memória de vários itens, eu combinei alguns parâmetros dos scripts postados aqui, hehehehe...

Qto à pergunta sobre o Conky usar recursos do sistema, todo programa, pra rodar, faz isso, mas dentre as opções disponíveis (gDesklets, ScreenLets, etc) o Conky é o mais leve. Na máquina que estou usando o Conky, o uso do processador fica sempre em 2% ou 3% de uso sem nada aberto e com o Conky funcionando e, com coisas abertas, como copiando cd e usando o Firefox, o uso de memória fica em torno de 280MB ou 14% da memória instalada.



No meu conky as palavras aparecem com caracteres estranhos, em vez de terça aparece terça. O que fazer para corrigir esse erro?

Fred ambos os itens vai depender de sua pl. mãe e tipo de conexão de internet que vc tem.
Esse tópico tem vários links que vão te servir, assim foi comigo principal qto a temp. de HD, processdor etc. Tive que fazer várias experiências, baseados nos vários scripts e links desse respectivo tópico.
