Problema na instalação da placa Pixelview 8000gt

Olá colegas,

instalei uma placa pixelview 8000 gt no meu pc (ubuntu 9.04) e segui este tutorial para instala-la:

Aparentemente tudo correu bem,  mas ao tentar rodar o tvtuner recebi esta mensagem

A correr tvtime 1.0.2.
A ler a configuração de /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
A ler a configuração de /home/lula/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
xvoutput: No XVIDEO port found which supports YUY2 images.

*** driver.  If you are using an older NVIDIA card (TNT2), then

Vocês têm alguma pista para resolver esse "pepino"?

Complementando, descobri que no tutorial acima, não mencionava este passo:
(como administrador)
-criar o arquivo /etc/modprobe.d/options
-editar no arquivo acima:
options cx88xx card=66 i2c_scan=1 tuner=71

(lembrando que estes valores podem variar de acordo com a máquina e a placa de captura)

Aí sim o driver foi reconhecido 

Quase resolvido. No xawtv funcionou legal. No tvtime, o problema persiste:

para fechar,

com certeza o tvtime deve fechar rapidamente

isso ocorre por causa de problemas com a nvidia talvez não esteja instalada

verifique em http://mstr.ueuo.com/cx88/instalar.php?id=cx88&c=66&i=a

Valeu a dica mstr, segui as recomendações mas ainda continuo recebendo a famigerada mensagem:

A placa acredito que foi reconhecida legal pq o radio está funcionando e a tv também com o XawTV.

O problema é só o tvtime
