Erro com SDL

Estou compilando um jogo e tá dando o seguinte erro:

checking for sdl-config... no
checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0... no

a libsdl1.2 tá instalada, alguem pode me dar uma dica?

Já resolvi, foi só instalar as livrarias de desenvolvimento.
