Nova versão do Skype

Caramba! Já estava pra encomendar o bolo de um aninho da versão 1.2.0.18. :-) Contudo, ontem chegou a notícia (http://share.skype.com/sites/linux/) da nova versão do Skype. Finalmente, temos nosso suporte a ALSA e não precisamos mais esperar 2 minutos para que ele inicie. Só que ainda é uma versão beta.

Eu tive problemas com o Skype no Dapper.

Depois de instalar o programa o sistema não reconhecia mais a placa wireless. Reinstalei tudo duas vezes e acontecia a mesma coisa. Agora reinstalei o Kubuntu há alguns dias e não instalei o Skype. O problema sumiu!

Vou esperar pela versão final pra fazer o próximo teste.

Testei aqui, não tive problemas com a instalação.
Eu apenas precisei instalar uma dependencia libqt3-mt.
Com relação a nova versão.Realmente a abertura melhorou muito, esta bem mais rápido!
Vale a pena testar.

Com certeza, não irá ter. Suporte a webcam só na versão 2.0 em diante.

Para esta versão, esqueça.
Para o windows já está na versão 2.5 e o suporte para webcam ainda está em beta!
